Baseball: Two Saints named to academic team

Lacey, WA – Saint Martin’s had two players named to the 2010 Great Northwest Athletic Conference Baseball Academic all-conference team.
Blaine Evans, a junior outfielder from Camas, WA majoring in biology, heads up the academic all-star team for the second year in a row with a near perfect 3.99 grade point average.
Luke Abbott, a senior from Chehalis, WA, was the Saints’ other honoree. Abbott is a history major with a 3.37 GPA.
All letter winners who are in at least their second year of competition at their university and have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.20 are eligible to be selected to the team.
