Men's Golf: Saints second at GNAC Championship

Coeur d’Alene, ID – Saint Martin’s men’s golf took home second place at the Great Northwest Athletic Conference golf championship on Tuesday at the Coeur d’Alene Resort Golf Course.
Freshman Michael Jaeger led the Saints with a three-round total of 215 to finish third overall. His final round of 66 tied for the lowest at the tournament.
Justin Lanman carded a 219, good enough for fifth place, after shooting a one-under par 70 in round three. Zach Dietz finished one stroke behind at 220.
Jack Whealdon and Kevin Jech were within one shot of each other, finishing at 232 and 233 respectively.
As a team the Saints shot a combined 878 over the two-day championship.
Western Washington claimed the team title shooting 850, with Xavier Dailly earning medalist honors after he carded a four-under par 209. Northwest Nazarene took third at 918 and Montana State Billings was fourth at 927.
