Monterey Bay, CA – Saint Martin’s women’s golf shot a combined 650 to finish 12th at the two-day, two-round Lady Otter Spring Invitational held at the Black Horse Golf Course.
The Saints posted a 321 on day one and a 329 on day two at the tough course.
Lauren Roberts led the way with a 160, after carding a team low 76 in the first round. Vanessa Sinclair and Alexi Coltom both finished at 164 for the tournament.
Karly Olsen came in at 166 and Kim Vivian posted a 169.
“The girls played great on the first day. This course is one of the more challenging that we play and I thought the girls managed well,” said head coach Bob Grisham.
The University of British Columbia took home the team title shooting a 600 even for the tournament. Host Monterey Bay’s Cicilia Chudivan took home medalist honors carding a 146 and helping the Otters to a second place finish.
The Saints are back at it again this week as they travel to Arizona for the Grand Canyon Invitational.
