Men's Golf: Saints have tough go at San Bernardino

San Bernardino, CA – After a tough first day that saw all 17 teams stop two holes short of finishing the second round, Saint Martin’s came back to post their best round on day two in the final round of the Coyote Classic Golf Tournament held at Arrowhead Country Club.
The Saints shot a combined 294 in the third round to finish the tournament in 14th with a three round total of 897.
Olof Rosborg recorded the highest finish for the Saints with a 221, shooting his best of 71 in the third round. Michael Jaeger was one shot behind at 222 with Jack Whealdon posting a 226. Zach Dietz finished the tournament with a 230 and Kevin Jech a 233.
Cal State Monterey Bay won the17 team tournament with a team total of 848 followed by Barry University and Chico State at 851.
The Saints next tournament will be March 22-23 when they travel to Livermore, CA for the Notre Dame de Namur Invitational.
