McMinnville, OR – Saint Martin’s Hannah Scholter set a school record in the women’s heptathlon finishing fifth with 3057 points after two days of action at the Linfield Multi-Events Tuesday at Maxwell Field.
Highlighting the event was Scholter’s first place finish in the 100m hurdles where she posted a time of 17.46.
Scholter’s next highest finish was fourth in the javelin throw with a toss of 24.32m. She took fifth in the 200m dash, 29.23, the long jump, 4.19m, and the shot put, 6.99m. Her 2:43.90 put her in sixth in the 800m and her 1.28m high jump was good enough for seventh place.
“Hannah did really well and gained a lot of great experience,” said assistant coach Gunner Argo. “This was a good opportunity for her to see where she’s at and gives us a chance to work on certain areas. We’re excited to see what she can do at the next one.”
