Lacey, WA – For the second time in three weeks Saint Martin’s Aaron Johnson was named as the Great Northwest Athletic Conference Player of the Week for his outstanding performance on the baseball diamond.
Johnson had four hits and drove in eight runs as the Saints crushed Seattle University 21-7. His eight RBI was just one shy of the GNAC single-game record. Among his four hits were two double and a home run.
“Aaron continues to provide leadership in our line-up and is the driving force as far as getting runs in for us,” said head coach Ken Garland.
The Saints start GNAC play this weekend with a home series against Montana State Billings.
