Women’s Golf: Saints take third at Pioneer Shootout
Vallejo, CA – Saint Martin’s posted a two-day, two-round, team total of 658 to place third at the Pioneer Shootout hosted by Cal State East Bay held at the Hiddenbrooke Golf Course.
After shooting a 336 in round one the Saints came back with a 322 in the second round. Lauren Roberts led the Saints with a 161 to tie for ninth.
Alexi Coltom finished with a 163, her lowest round coming on the second day where she had a four over par 76. Vanessa Sinclair was one stroke behind at 164. Kim Vivian shot a 170 while Karly Olsen finished the tournament with a 181.
Sonoma State took the team title at 638 followed by Academy of Art University at 654. Sonoma’s Spencer Heller earned medalist honors with a two-round total of 152.
The Saints next tournament will be March 22-23 when they take part in the Chico State Invitational.
