Women's Golf: Saints maintain stride to finish in third; Dalzell takes second

Brentwood, CA – Amy Dalzell shot a two-day total of 152 to finish in a tie for second and lead Saint Martin’s to a third place finish at the Lady Argo West Coast Invite hosted by Notre Dame de Namur and held at the Roddy Ranch Golf Course.
After shooting a 74 on day one, the lowest round of the day, Dalzell came back with a 78 on Tuesday to put her in a tie for second with Christa Goldie of Western Washington and four shots behind the tournament leader Kaitlin Parker, also of WWU.
As a team the Saints finished with a two-day two-round total of 633. Western took first overall in the eight team tournament shooting a 616 followed by Cal State Monterey Bay at 623.
Vanessa Sinclair carded rounds of 78 and 77 for a 155 total putting her in fourth. Lauren Roberts was 14th at 159 while Karly Olsen and Alexi Coltom were 23rd and 29th respectively. Olsen shot a 167 and Coltom a 171.
The Saints now wait to see if their efforts will help them to a spot at the NCAA DII West Regionals
