Seattle, WA – Saint Martin’s suffered the defeat at the hands of Seattle Pacific in a three game sweep, 25-14, 25-11, 25-18, in a Great Northwest Athletic Conference match Saturday afternoon at the Brougham Pavilion.
The Falcons soared out to a 14-4 lead on their way to a win in set one. In the second set the score was tied at 7-7 before SPU used an eight point run to pull away.
Saint Martin’s battled in the third and final set, keeping it close the whole way but never quite being able to overtake Seattle Pacific.
Teilissa Tua and Kirstyn Druzianich had six kills apiece for the Saints with Kristin Anderson adding 11 digs. The loss drops the Saints to 3-20 on the season and 0-14 in conference play.
The Saints will travel to Seattle University for a non-conference game on Tuesday, November 10th, before returning home to play their final home game of the season on Thursday, November 12th, at the Marcus Pavilion.
