Men's Soccer: Saints fifth in NCAA poll

Lacey, WA – GNAC Champion Saint Martin’s is ranked fifth in the week’s official NCAA West Regional men’s soccer poll.
Following this weekend’s games, the top four teams will advance to the NCAA regional playoffs. As it stands the top four teams are all from the California Collegiate Athletic Association. The qualifiers and pairings will be announced Monday at 4pm.
There is no automatic berth in men’s soccer so the Saints would need to move up one spot, into the top four to qualify.
In this week’s National Soccer Coaches Association of America poll Saint Martin’s is ranked seventh.
NCAA Regional - 1. Cal State L.A (17-2-1).; 2. Sonoma State (12-3-4); 3. CSU San Bernardino (14-4-1); 4. Cal State Dominguez Hills (13-5-1); 5. Saint Martin's (9-3-0); 6. Seattle Pacific (10-5-3).
NSCAA Regional - 1. Cal State L.A.; 2. Sonoma State; 3. CSU San Bernardino; 4. Cal State Dominguez Hills; 5. Grand Canyon; 6. Cal State Stanislaus; 7. Saint Martin's; 8. Seattle Pacific; 9. Hawaii Paciffic; 10. Montana State Billings.
The Saint Martin’s women are ninth in the NSCAA poll, the NCAA poll will not be released until Wednesday.
